Tamarind Tree Masala Meatballs
500gms minced beef
1 onion finely diced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper
½ cup of breadcrumbs
1 Jar Tamarind Tree Masala paste
Fry onions in a little olive oil until browned. Allow to cool slightly
Combine meat, egg,, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper and onions and roll into small balls.
Add to a heavy bottomed saucepan and fry until browned. Combine Masala paste with 1 ½ cups of water and pour over meatballs. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve with basmati rice and coriander.
