Indian Spiced Cashew Coleslaw

Side Dish


1 large carrot, peeled and julienned
¼ cabbage, finely shredded
150gms snow peas, julienned
2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
1 red onion, finely sliced
1 tablespoon Coriander and Ginger Tamarind Tree
2 tablespoons natural yoghurt
Squeeze of lime juice
50gms cashews, toasted
1 teaspoon cumin seeds toasted


  1. Combine vegetables and coriander in a large bowl and mix together well.
  2. In a small bowl combine Tamarind Tree Coriander and Ginger, yoghurt and lime juice and mix well
  3. Stir through dressing through vegetables
  4. Finish with toasted cashews and cumin seeds
  5. Great as a side dish for summer bbq
